if it happens sometimes, then it has to do w/your data connection. make sure its active and you have a good signal. additionally, if you say do a soft reset and then go immediately to open up picsel, it will not automatically dial up the network to connect like internet explorer. so in THAT SITUATION, i just go to my today screen and update my weather and then open up picsel again and you should be good.
