My HTC Touch will not wake up from sleep mode to ring when I'm getting a call. All I get is the missed call and/or voicemail notification after I manually wake the phone up, which could be up to an hour later if I don't think to check it.
The phone plays a half ring or so when you turn it on from sleep manually, like it is just then getting the call.
This is really frustrating. No one, even when I went to the Sprint store, seems to be able to offer a solution besides, "wait for HTC to release an OS update."
I figured if anyone knew about this problem and how to fix it, it'd be you guys.

(Text messages act the same way as calls, the notification and sound only play once the phone is manually waken from sleep mode)
Ok so I had the same problem. I was on the phone with sprint for 2 hours and finally fixed it. It is definatly a software problem but can be fixed with a factory reset. Just make sure you back up all your contacts and programs. AND MAKE SURE YOU DO IT WHILE ON THE PHONE WITH SPRINT CAUSE YOU HAVE TO ENTER CODES AND SUCH!!!!!!!!!
