ok here we go lol.
1. you want to stick with 6.1 still correct?
2. do a hard reset by holding the 2 soft keys (buttons directly below the calender and contacts tabs while reseting.) (all 3 must be done simultaneously) This clear it back to nothing on the phone so you can build the way that you want to.
3. than you will need to get external rom unlocker and unlock the external rom which can be downloaded here:

4. you will be able to get on demand from the external rom unlocker linked to you above.
