yeah done that also, there is settings in there that can be changed, but nothing along the lines of like changing the default input type of abc, 123, or XT9...Who knows maybe it is a little kink and will work its way back to how it was? haha or maybe it was in a kink, and worked itself out?
you can always go with a different after market keyboard there are many to choose from and than use SIPChange and make that your default at all times.
