so I have the spl-2.40 olipro and I think I have bricked my nice alltel 6800(mothafukkjasdlfkj) when it came to the rainbow screen I soft reseted and took the battery out....then came to this and read and tried to figure out my issue but now when I soft reset it flashes red and then comes back to the rainbow screen. I went to the htc site and tried to run the sprint 3.35 rom and went through the wizard and it came up to the updating screen and then just stayed at zero
your fine as long as the screen (rainbow) aka bootloader says olipro 2.40 just connect to activesync and it will say usb on your phone. than flash to the custom rom of your choice.
