Well, I tried TCPMP, but it was actually worse than Windos Media. I even did a hard reset just in case it was something I did playing around in the registry, but to no avail. Video is still choppy. This doesn't happen to videos I record off the device, so I have no idea what's going on. I'm tempted to take it back to Sprint for a new one, but they'd probably laugh at me when I gave them my reason.
i know this is a old post but i was having the same problem and i solved it so i figured i would post the settings i used.
After you install TCPMP and are getting choppy video, go to options,video and chose RAW FrameBuffer. the video should play very smoothly now even with the video quality set to Normal. hope this helps anyone in the future, and if it does hit the thanks button!
