I did this yesterday and I used my gps several times since then and its not reverted back. Maybe you should give it another shot:)
Also, once I ran the PPST_080407_7500_SPCS_2.03.sa yesterday iG08 is the only thing I need and I get a sat link immediately even while inside.
Edit: Set your date format before you check the boxes off. Thats what I did and its still how I set it.
Edit2: Dash, did you add the modded sys file in yours?
