Did IGO8 recognize your current timezone correctly? If your talking about your system clock you'll need to fix it after you check off both boxes and exit iGO8. The real test is does your system clock change again when you open and close iGO8. But, once you've changed your system time you should be all good from there.

Edit: Someone over at ppcgeeks posted this sys file which includes the timezeone reset fix. But, mine works both ways.
