That is exactly what I did, and it when I hit ok it it closes and when I go back in it still say's trial version will expire in 7 day's? Could it have some thing to do with installing over a previous version that was not yet unlocked. Could it be something in the registry preventing this?

yeah maby try an uninstall and reinstall works great for me and many others....
