ah yes i have that, i stopped using it once i realized regular usb fits, but yeah i suppose it would make it less prone to breakage.
I STRONGLY reccomend using the spliter as I mysef learned the hardway, yes the regular will fit and charge, but over time you KILL the PINS inside the phone where the cable grabs charge from.!
