Thanks for the update. I've been starting to learn this whole kitchen thing, but it's definately a bit convoluted. Just a matter of finding the time (which with work right now, ain't an easy proposition) to learn the thing. I wish we could have a VM style kitchen where you load a base rom, load the apps (just like you were on the phone itself), then compile the new rom out of it. Suppose that'd be too easy though, mfrs would never allow it.
I also came across a bug in the contact edit form (assuming that's not actually iContact but the built in editor) that I wasn't sure if was related to the rom, or just inherent to the application. When you go to select a ringtone for a contact, the ringtone continues to play until it finishes, or you save or cancel the contact edit. There's no way to stop the playback after you set the ringtone without leaving the edit form.
