ok i got it to boot with take 2 now can i just install take 3?
Take 2 was using the 3.35 radio where Take 3 uses 3.42. Read the second post in the thread for how to update the radio. It's really simple. Basically, you drop the radio rom on an old sd card formatted to fat32, pop it in the phone, hold the camera and power and hit the reset button. The phone does the rest.
