we will reopen the request areas soon so no worries there and the application shouldnt freeze your device by itself...... it may be conflicting with a different app that you have installed. and unfortunately if it is hanging on the splash screen you are going to have to do a hard reset. what i would try though is to install this app on your phone first and than see how it reacts.... than install the other apps and soft reset after each install and see when it does the freeze thing again (if it does) than you know the apps that are conflicting. let us know how this goes for you and what you ended up doing....
