ok, well i did what you said, and now eveytime i try to log on it says. error code: 1010
which is Data service is not available when the device is in tethered and bluetooth dial up networking mode.

what rom are you running on your touch??? also try to go to start/ settings/connections/connections/ choose internet amd than click go and let it sit without falling asleep for a couple minutes.
