After reading the thread over at XDA they basically said that the only animated weather is when it rains. So just program in a zip code where its supposed to be raining to see if it works.
I still haven't installed it yet, but ive been following along with all the updates...just waiting for once it's out of Beta, or maybe even cooked into a ROM.
right now in grand rapids michigan it is raining......... pretty damn hard according to my sister...... 49505
