After the RUU update is done your phone will come to first splash screen , then is when you take you battery out for 1 minute. After put it back in the phone turn on. Let the phone do its then and start up all the way. Then go to setting and do hard reset. So yes you let it load up.
you can do it to set the page pull at anytime. like i said i wait until it has done a full boot to where you have the today screen. that ensure i have had a successful flash. then that is when i do my meticulious sht like setting the page pool.
