I had the application failure too. What I did is drag all items in the extracted folder to my desktop (instructions, readme, the cab file, the keygen) everything that is there. Then I ran the keygen and it worked that way. I creates the smms.dll file that you drag to your phone on your desktop.
Sweet! Got it working again. Strange how the keygen needs all the files to be extracted to work. I would have never thought of that. Thanks for the help......
