last thought out of my ass...... have you ever had it in an adapter for your computer. if slow slip it in there and make sure the lock is off that can casue the same error your talking bout.
i never even had an adapter until recently... i always just had it in my mogul and would copy/ paste files to in using file explorer. then i flashed the official 6.1 and it didn't show up in the file explorer anymore. but my comp can read it, so it's obviously not fried
