I don't know what to say. All I can tell you is that before hand I had to use HTC GPS Tool to prime the gps by leaving it on for up to 10 minutes. It would eventually get a lock and THEN I could use it for google maps, etc. And that was every time I wanted to use gps if it had been a significant time since the last prime.
With the fix I posted, I get a lock in under a minute.
The ROM is great and I'm loving it. I'm just loving faster gps lock too. :D
why play with kiddy stuff like google maps? lol i use garmin.. already does everything you just stated. on a fresh flash takes only about 20 seconds.
