Ok, I have been bouncing roms around to find the best for me. So far I have landed on Confliper's alltel manilla rom. I have to say I do really like this rom:)
Anyway, I have been messing with the GPS since last night and I just cant get a fix. So as you can see I've been very frustrated and PULLING MY HAIR OUT ROFL!
Ever since I updated to the newest Alltel official 6.1 rom I havent had to use QPST and reg editor to set the ip addy's any longer until now. I tried that and several different programs to try and get a GPS fix. I just cant get one at all! Another thing is when I am at home I am roaming on Verizon towers and when I head into the city I am using the Alltel towers... So when I am at home I used to program the Verizon ip's to get a quick GPS fix or I wouldnt even get anything. Then when I know I'm going to town I program the phone with the Alltel ip's. But now I just can get anything even if I set the ip's manually.
So any input would be greatly appreciated. THA!
Edit: Just to let you all know I am using radio 3.42.30.. I have not updated to .50 yet.
i would try the new radio and see what that does for you...... if you flash the rasdio via sd card you wont have to worry bout reinstalling everything all over agaon :>
