on the safe side i would literally run the new radio its easy as hell usb in and run the .exe and then you shouldn't have to worry, reason you want to flash the new radio is with an off radio youll end up freezing when you boot up the machine and only way to end it is to hard reset. i always flash the radio that comes with my roms just to be sure.
hmmm not necessarily so. i've used the 3.42.02 radio before with his roms and it works flawlessly. only problem i had was signal searching hehe i live in an area with suckie ev coverage so that's why i got tha airave but that's another matter. with the new radio 3.42.50, my signal is found within seconds! instead of minutes heh saves me lots of battery and time
