the point of a soft reset is like restarting your computer. It frees up your ram and can make your phone faster...also you usually have to do a soft reset when you install or uninstall a program...thats why your keyboards still show up...if you do a soft reset they should be gone...dude seriously you should read the noob guide cause it tells you everything you need to know when you are starting out
