I had written on another thread that I would let you know how it goes with swapping out my mogul for a touch pro. It seems this is an appropriate thread to tell you also.
Well it was a success! ............. But, One problem. I have a spending limit on my account. So I told the guy if i can call again to decided because I wanted to know if you can confirm some stuff for me.
Here it goes. I called retentions twice with no go today! On the third call a guy picked up and was trying to explain to me blah blah blah that he understood clearly what I wanted but that he wouldn't be able to help me because i was passed 30 days. So finally Before hanging up I told him if there is any other department I can talk to. He told me sure hold on while I make a case number for you and transferred me to the escalating department. There I talked to some dude, which we talked for a while till he budged and told me h/o and when he came back told me that he would be able to assist me in swapping out my phone even if its passed 30 days. At that time my heart jumped with excitement........
until he told me well it seems you have a spending limit so we wont be able to charge the phone to your account and you will have to pay full price for the phone upfront. So i was damn really 579.99+ tax. he said yeah. if you order it right now you pay full price for it. Then once its charged to your credit card, your account will be credited the $180 instant savings. Once you receive the touch pro and the returning kit you send the mogul back and we will credit you what you payed for the mogul(which I paid $399 in july08) as long as its in working good condition. So at that point I was like damn! what a hassle. I told him so my account is going to be credited $579 by the time you guys receive my mogul ($399 and$180 instant savings). he said correct. i told him, so i basically have my sprint bill paid off for the remainder of my contract pretty much. He said well you can request a return check once all the money has been credited back to your account and you will receive it in the mail. At that point I told him ok, Ill have to think about it. I got his email, name and his personal phone number(kinda awkward, but whatever its for the pro :smilese:) and told him ill let him know and he gave me 15 days to reach him again.
Sooo sorry for the long post, I hope your not overwhelmed. I hope you can answer these questions for me.
1. Is it true that I can request a return check to get the money out of my account after I receive the credits?
2. Would you know how long this whole process would take with the return kit and all to get my mogul credited back to my account?
Cause Ill be out of $580+tax for a while :( At least it came out to an even swap !!!
If anyone can also answer my questions I would appreciate it it also thanks.

they are sold out right now unfortunately but not for long :> (inside job lmao) but you get the return package and than ship the phone out same day (fed-ex will pick up on doorstep) than in 2 days they will receive the package. call and have them look up the tracking so they can credit you. than the same day you send out the package get that cash pulled out and mail it to them. they will receive both on the same day and than once that happens tell them that you want to withdraw the money in check form. than from there it will take about a total of 11-14 days.
