I have a ppc6800 and last friday i slide the keyboard out to text, and the screen doesnt turn. It turns to look like a barcode and wont respond to my touches as long as it's ope. I slide it closed and it works fine. Saturday the screen just doesn't turn, works fine when closed but not when ope. Sunday the screen doesn't always turn on. About half on the time it'll turn on, but the other half, the screen just turns a light gray and doesnt have a picture. Now the screen won't display the picture at all. Could flashing a new ROM fix it? But i don't know if you use the screen when flashing it. I can't send it back because I got it online, not from the store. There is a place that fixes phones and I can get a screen for $140, but they aren't even sure if thats the problem. Any help would be appreciated.
try a hard reset and see if it still does it.... if so than its a hardware issue........ it doesnt matter that you bought it online... i have bought many phones off-line and just transferred the insurance from my first phone with sprint over to all the different phones i had without troubles..... they auto do it for me now lmao.
