So after reading all the threads here, I am still confused. After installing the cab do I still need to get something else like pdanet in order for it to work? And when connecting it to my desktop/laptop all I need is a usb? After that, do I need to open internet on my phone for the computer to detect the server from my phone? Will this work like a modern for my computer? will this give me slower services or will the speed be the same as my phone?

I tried installing pdanet and some other one before and i could not get it to work so I just gave up, but since this cab sound promising, I think I am gonna give it a try again.
