what rom are you running??? stock roms are buggy and slow so i suggest going custom. On a side note, WM is slow by default IMO cuz im running a custom rom and i noticed that where its the slowest is in standard functions
example..... typing in different applications, same functions but different apps

Vito SMS Chat = Fast as hell!!!
Internet Explorer = Slow!!!!
Skyfire, Opera Mini, Opera Mobile = Fast...
(you can try HTC performance to overclock your device, and also you can use SKtools to optimize for performance)
ireally wanted to go for a custom rom especial to get all the sprint crap out of it. im a novice at the flashing part of this! which is funny bcuz i flash psp's, but your right about vito, i kinda lag a little bit on the opera.
