Back on track most importantly do not hit any buttons on phone you dont want to bring phone out of sleep state as more chance of electrical flowing through a soggy circuit (BAD) remove battery asap
if you can go to electronics store and buy a cell phone maint kit itl have the ultra tiny screwdrivers to open your phone.
Seperate as much as you can in the case soak the electronics briefly in denatured alcohol or isopropyl 90% do not use 70% as it has hi water content. It will act as a dry gas and remove water.
Allow 2-3 days drying time (parked car in daytime on dash works great)
pray and hope it reboots. this method worked twice for my moto q and moto q9c (wish them phones were lil better os wise they were fun)
last option have TEP and pay 50 beans for new phone
I dropped my Vogue upside down in a cup of water by accident. I was using Internet Sharing. I pulled it out by the USB cord quick, took off the battery and shaked most of the water out. I turned it on after a bit and I couldn't text or make calls and the speaker was cracking and popping. BUT Internet Sharing still worked LOL. I thought I was screwed. Luckily I had my TD (it wasn't activated yet..so guess what I did) and I activated it.
What's cool is that after a day or so, the phone worked fine again. Speakers are fine, display is the same, ect. I was planning on giving the messed up Vogue away to a friend, letting him activate it and do an insurance claim. $50 for a new Vogue was a deal. But since its ok he keeps his Muziq lol.
