After I took it out the next morning it still was kind of acting up, but then like a day later it worked like nothing had ever happened. I guess it is supposed to speed up the evaporation process. what i would do is take the phone apart. look at it this way i would want to get the phone working again for a long time, if the warranty was going to be voided because of water damage anyway why not just take it apart and than on the parts that are visablly wet take a cutip that is wet (but not dripping) with alcohol and that will evaporate the water fast... than i place under a vent or on top of the AC to speed it along even more..... had to do this a couple of times already for my buddies and i can do it drunk now since thats when it usually happens :>
