i went and got the date for ya... omnia drops at verizon on december 8th according to my sources
thanks. appreciate the effort. yeah, it(omnia) was available for purchase via vzn's store the same time i ordered the tp but as I've mentioned I have 3 lines on the family share and don't think it's worth it for me to buy out of the contract for all 3 at this time.
re omnia vs tp: I went with the tp cause of the hard keys; had the iphone but typing on the screen was such a chore.
