Instant Savings means exactly that, no mail-in-rebates, no garbage that you have to send away for, etc. Also, I'm pretty sure that this isn't only for NEW customers, it is for existing as well so if you're nearing your contract extension, Sprint will honor it. But even if you aren't almost out of contract, it can't hurt to try and trick Sprint to price match it anyway.
