yup i agree with you kaos i never backup or worry about it..... to all people that are interested in backing up you cant back-up from one rom and than flash to a different one than restore the backup... you will have many errors and have to reflash.
not only errors.. but if you try it on say a device like touch 6900 from a pre gps back up to a gps rom, or otherwise. You can possibly brick the device.
