did you check to make sure that you have the connection setting through activesync or mobile device center checked to allowing usb? have you tried to flash via an extra sd card and see what that does for you?
Yes usb is checked on activesync. I tried to flash via sd card and the bootloader screen flashes for just a second then it goest to the "loading..." screen and just sits there until I do a soft reset.
