why, dont you ask these question in the M2D thread... i believe these issues are all addressed already.... also its sounds like you might have an older version of M2d with out the fixes and stufff... try gettin an updated version, or flashin a rom w/ it built in and tweaked out...
also what rom are you running? and are you sure the apps arent closing out each time because of the way that xbutton is configured? sounds like you have tap to clsoe instead of tap and hold to close.
