I forget exactly what you do... but, you skip that screen. I think you go ahead and hit the "use trial" button or whatever. Then, you get the unit ID number, run it through keygen, re-open Garmin, register using the key & you're stet to go.
At least, I THINK that's how it worked.
MY next step is getting the maps loaded. I'll try that later tonight.
register with key? i thought you were suppossed to save that key as a file named sw.unl, and drop it in the storage card/garmin file? plus i cant even get the garmin software to connect to any reciever. i open live search and open the gps there, then i open garmin but still no luck. it just keeps searching and searching and searching..... also, i dont know if this has anything to do with it, but for some reason i have to change my gps reciever to "COM0" in order for ANY of my gps application to work, anyone else have to do that? i have a mogul. thanks.
