the annoyinng intro screen is actually a place marker while the application is loading. The only way to avoid it, if it truly bothers you to an non withstandable point, is to when you are done using the app instead of going to that scroll out menu and pressing the "x" and actually closing the app, press the "_" instead and it will just minimize it and run it in the background. It really doesn't use that much memory either. And the next time that you go to use it, it will instantly come up on your screen without the necessity of having to wait on it to load.
