If you still use your Pocket Pc' standard Today Screen instead of those jacked up ones, you may hide those breaker lines.
Using a free
Registry Editor, change the following keys.

Under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Today add a new DWord key with name “HidePluginSeparators†and value 1
While it may not work in older devices as well as some new ones, give a try anyway.
