I looked at your tutorial it mentions all kinds of carriers but not US Cel. That was what made me wary. According to your tutorial all i have to do is find a Custom US Cel ROM and
to flash a custom rom from a stock rom
1. unlock your phone using hardspl found here:

2. download the custom rom of your choice and download
3. take the nbh file and drag into the RUU folder found here:

4. connect to activesync
5. run the romupdateutility.exe file from the RUU
6. follow the steps of the wizard.
7. DONE.|
the roms here dont have the carrier junk installed so it can be ran with any provider.... you will jsut need to run the dcd carrier cab for your provider...... jut follow the same steps and if you want to flash the stock one than follow the steps for flashing the stock one....
