I never had a problem with certain type of files.
As for use of this program... yes always be somewhat careful of how much data you have flowing through (to each his own). I wouldn't recommend dl'ing 1 gig programs, movies etc, on a daily basis(red flag would prob go off), but to do it occasionally or snatch a song up that you really wanted to have should be just fine.
The continuation of dl'ing always seemed to work well for those bigger projects, so I do the like the program and assuming this newer version will only have better things in store.
