very tru, but im sure there is a regedit that could be done......it would look like this...

landscape 0x00000001 (1)
portrait 0x00000000 (0)
but....settings in the device prompt it to reverse it once you open close the keybard....all i have to do is either disable that registry so it will not revert back to portrait or delete the value of portrait mode all together.....but that wouldn't be the best idea because some programs are not supported in landscape.....it is very possible to do, i and i know if i could take a look at the registry i could make it happen.....but again it's not the best thing to do......mappin the hard buttons would be the ideal way....
