Tried this out few days before you posted this when I first saw it on PPCGeeks, so I've already tested this and confirming that it does work.

I guess one issue is that you need to use an iPod Video Cable as those are the ones that seem to work the best and what many are saying all around. It has to do with the pin connections on the 3.5 mm side.

That's the one I used since it came with my iPod Dock. No issues and worked right off the bat.

Using the Touch Pro for Sprint.

EDIT: Another thing, go with NTSC as that's the format over here in the US.
