ok you have the gps radio....... i think the trouble that you are facing may be that you went from a gps rom with a gps radio to a non gps rom which would mess with the groove of things. what i want you to do is this:
1. hook up to pc via usb.
2. press and hold the power and the camera burttons while soft resetting to enter manual bootloader
3. on the bottom of the screen while plugged in it should say usb (unplug to see if it says serial and if it does plug back in and wait for it to change back to usb)
4. run the ron that you want to flash too.....
5. being in manual bootloader should get you by the troubles..... when it says usb on your device you are making a connection with activesync even though it wont show it on your computer or device...... when it says serial you arent making that connection...... hope this helps and if you ahve firther questions feel free to ask. jsut follow the steps in the flashing guide and you will be fine my friend.
