no you will not be charged and did you unlock the phone before flashing? also did you have the correct radio on your phone..... if you didnt have a 6.1 rom on your device before trying to flash you would have the freezing since you would have had the wrong radio.... i would take a look at the flashing guide that you can find below in my signature and that should help you out quite a bit.
cant load your page, my dial up isnt fast enough, but i think i have the "flashing roms custom and stock." so i gotta run ruu and update my stock then install the custom? cuz if so i did that
