Default Re: Google Navigator v50C

I tried this out on my Touch Pro, because... you know... the other 4 navigation apps I have just weren't enough! lol.

Anyhoo, as navigation software, I'm not impressed. It can't pull any info from your contacts list, which is how I usually do things with other software (find a destination in Live or Google Maps, save to contacts, then navigate there later.)

The interface is clunky & hard to use. It didn't inspire me to go digging to learn just what the software is capable of.

I consider this a case of an app that can do much much more than anyone will ever use it for, simply because the interface is so clumsy and poorly executed.

Finger friendly, it isn't.

But, the idea of actually having 3d satellite imagery while navigating is promising, and I just might re-install it to get the "ooh, cool" effect from anyone I might want to impress... I never could get Amaze GPS to do that.
