no a theme wouldnt cause that and i have ran each and everyone of probex's themes and never had troubles..... sounds like something on your side is messed up with your pc or your devices pins or something....

S2U2-TF7X-VGA-PROBEX.cab
PROBEX-blue-vga.cab
TF7X-WHITE-S2A-Theme.cab

PROBEX Highlight Grey.cab

I reset between each install and have TouchFlow turned off during the entire process.

sounds like you didnt soft reet after every step for the 3 major theme cabs...
