do you have it on or off of the charger when you're getting this result?
either way go to start>settings>system>power, then select the advanced tab, and checkmark the "turn off
DEVICE if not used for" box for both when on battery power and when on external power. (or whatever custom settings you prefer. Just make sure that it's for
DEVICE and
NOT BACKLIGHT. When you're selecting these settings or it will only dim and not turn off.
