When I called, I tried entering the msl instead of "1" or "2", it said that it was not a valid option. So I pressed "1" to see what would happen. Nothing happened. It played music for a while and said that my phone was programmed successfully.
THEN, I tried ##778 instead of the ##778# that everyone was saying to dial and it took me right to it, where it says "view" "edit" or "cancel." When I hit "edit" it asked for the unlock code and my msl would not work. I finally tried "000000" and it worked!
So I had to hit the right soft key that said "View Info" and i went to "modem settings" and the slot cycle index was under there. It was set to 2 and I changed it to 0. Hopefully this will work and maybe help someone else out, too.

Thank you thank you thank you thank you!! :D

no troubles and trust me it will help.... make yourself a test call.
