well during a flash you will lose everything that ISNT on the card.... so dont worry you dont have to back it up by i do once a week just to be safe. and if your going from 5 to 6.1 or 6.5 than you will have to reinstall everything apps and games wise voer again since you CANT run a back up program and than run a restore from one rom to another and thats under all circumstances. to get your important stuff backed up like contacts, textx, calender, etc use a program called pimbackup.
