yes, this is true with most internal changes. it is best to do a soft reset after you install anything, somethings dont take effect until you soft reset. and if you want your phone to be more responsive, softreset everyday when you wake up. its kinda like a morning shower for your phone :spiteful:
This new beta update just added the remove all button for the call logs I was looking for yesterday. I usually do reset it, just had a minor brain fart.
