Re: New rom problems
Your post doesn't say what your carrier is, didn't see it in your profile. Your post doesn't say if you were running a different rom or were on stock before. Your battery consumption, before you loaded the tweak, how did you know what your rate was? By looking at the icon, or in the actual settings? And after you loaded the tweak, then what was your determination in the difference based on? You were having issues and then loaded a theme that isn't working right?
First, go back and reread the rom information and the original post and any linked information. Second, reflash the rom, pull the battery, and then hard reset. You should do this whenever you flash a rom, IMO. Third, make sure everything is working right, and then start loading stuff up.
Themes should go in before other stuff, and I would suggest making sure that the theme will not conflict with the rom (TF3D vs TF3D2 for instance) and that parts of it are not already cooked into the rom such as the apps that you want.
There's a thread linked to the rom that you loaded, with all kinds of info about tweaks and known issues, and it also lets you know what is in the rom to begin with.
The search features available on this site or through google will be of immense help to you.
Make sure that you are installing whatever apps you are installing to your device, and not to an sd card.
Adding to a situation that you know isn't working well, isn't gong to fix it. It's going to make it more difficult to straighten out.
Making a new thread about three or four different subjects that each have their own threads or sections will not get you a magical answer for your situation.
Don't think for a second that I am trying to be condescending or anything even remotely like that. What I know now about PPCs would probably fill weeseje's pinky or puerto's baby toe, or make the same statement about any of the staff or members, it all applies. I know what I know because I read what I could and kept on reading. I whined a lot, but have tried to stick with the rules of the forum as best I can. I try to help out where I can. I know what it's like to think you have a $500 paperweight, it sucks! I have the wonderful situation of trying to keep not only mine, but my hubby's working. He likes to tweak things and then whine to me, and then I spend hours online looking for the answer.
In some instances, you will get a quick and easy answer. I think that in your particular instance, it will be a lot slower coming because you have covered many subjects in the one post. Try going to the different threads and looking for answers for each.
Good luck!
