I'm following steps from NFSFAN 65 Faq forum which can be found in search....
Problem: Not being able to connect properly so that phone can be recognized in rainbow mode!
Steps I've taken: (mind you i did this connect disconnect about 10 times)
So i did a hard reset to reset everything on my phone (wiped clean)
Then i made sure activesync was turned off and then on
then i restarted computer and restarted phone
What happens to phone when connected:
- So i connect my htc touch(vogue) in rainbow mode (top button, side button, and stylus on bottom at same time)
- Then i launch RUU.exe and follow steps and after i get to (verifying the information on your pda phone...please wait) my phone goes into a load bar with 0% at the end of it
- Then the RUU.exe program tells me that i have no image version: it's just blank! but i select next anyway!
- Then i press next to update
- then i get into the update load bar and then i wait about 30 sec before it tells me (error 262) then i do all over again...
- and in raindbow mode it turns from serial to usb i don't see the wrong part??!!!
Can Anyone Help Me!!!???? :stuck:
